I Am Skeered...

...of spiders, car salesmen, and getting rid of my cable TV subscription service.

Yes, good people, we are close to cutting the cord.

But wait!  Whatever will we watch?  Darn good question.  I've been doing some research on a Roku box, and it looks like the way to go.  The box will cost around 7 bucks, one time.  A monthly subscription to Hulu or Amazon may be 10 bucks.  We'll need an antenna for the teevee, but that's not too expensive.

It's about time.  We will never be able to order just what we want to watch on cable because we have over 100 channels we NEVER watch.  For us, it HGTV, local channels and Netflix for the boys.  I will miss my live sporting and news events, I think, but it is a sacrifice I have to make, if I want to do things like eat, and drive a car to get to work.  The DVR will be greatly missed, but we can always go out and get a DVR for another one time fee.

Anyway, we aren't 100 percent sure just yet, but stay tuned.  We'll keep you updated.
