So Jonah is smitten.
Her name is Nikita (not her real name to protect the guilty and the innocent), and she calls him 'Sugarbear'.
They are classmates.
They have been to each others' birthday parties.
They are seven.
Since first laying eyes on 'The Girl With The Golden Hair' (as Jonah calls her), he has been taken. He talks of her all the time, and just this week, invited her over for something. I say something, since I don't know if it's called a 'play date', a 'date', some time between a man and her 'Sugarbear', I don't know.
Excited? The boy is way beyond excited. She is supposed to arrive around 10:00a, which means that Megan and I expect he'll get up around 6:00am or so, and ask us for the next several hours, "is it 10:00a yet? Is it 10:00a yet?"
Anyway, it should be a ton of fun!
