Right about now we sure could use rhymes; these hard times have us all looking for dimes, trying not to commit crimes, just so we can afford some limes...
A lame attempt, to be sure, but Dr. Suess sure had the cure. His books were legendary, his stories timeless. He found a way to make the ordinary extraordinary, and his work will live on forever.
Tonight, before bed, we will read "Green Eggs and Ham" to the boys, at their request.
No doubt other parents will carry out the same request when pressed by their kids.
