Of course you have. That's a dumb question. We all know it's January 24th, 2012.
Winter has set in.
Or has it?
Nope. Not here. Not anywhere close to here, and I for one, am glad to hear that. Nope. Not interested in the first snowfall, or the cold weather or cuddling up next to a cozy fire, or skiing, or snowball fights or frostbite or shoveling or scraping. I can, and will, do without all of that. (Okay, I do love hot chocolate and a cozy fire and skiing, and hockey but that's it.)
It was 60 degrees here today in the Old North State, certainly above normal, and definitely awesome!
I don't like winter. I don't like being cold. I, with every fiber of my being, HATE scraping my car. (Yes, that is a one car garage attached to my home. But it currently stores all the crap I can't bear to live without, so the car will never see the inside of that thing.)
I spent ten years in Buffalo, New York, going to school and beginning my career. I loved Buffalo very much, but of course, didn't like the winters either, though I tolerated them.
Now that I live in the south, I want nothing to do with winter, and will revel each and every day without snow, sleet, ice or cold weather.
Move south? Sure I could, but the bugs get bigger.
See you tomorrow.
